For the little ones, no Christmas trip would be complete without a visit to Santa, there are a number of excellent options in Clifden town to suit all tastes. Take a leisurely stroll down the main street and enjoy the Christmas decorations and lights in the evening.

While staying in Clifden you could take a trip to Kylemore Abbey where Christmas is a very special time of year. Explore the beautiful Abbey and grounds which feature beautiful decorations and treats. Alternatively, take a spin on the Sky Road or take a walk to the famous Clifden Castle, one time home of the founder of Clifden, Thomas D’Arcy
